GulfStream Group LLC Acquires the Assets and Operations of StarBak Communications, Inc.
Newton, Mass., March 20, 2007 — StarBak is the leading provider of
integrated network video solutions that allow organizations to simply and
easily create, manage, deliver and display video-based applications over
IP networks. GulfStream's acquisition, through its wholly-owned
subsidiary, GulfStream Media Corporation of Lexington, Massachusetts, will
operate StarBak under the registered trademarks of StarBak.
The acquired assets and operations have a worldwide customer base,
including Fortune 500 enterprises, as well as major government agencies
and educational institutions. Gregory Casale, StarBak's CEO since 2003,
has been engaged by GulfStream to lead and manage operations. "The
acquisition of the StarBak product line by GulfStream will insure the
resources needed to expand the product line while supporting the growing
list of enterprise customers", said Casale.
