The new display engine, working as an integral part of the company’s V3 system, will enable video delivery to passive displays in areas such as cafeterias, lobbies and hallways.
Organizations like Lockheed Martin (News - Alert) and Westpac Bank have already deployed Starbak's Digital Signage network to provide passive viewing of training classes, public service announcements, CEO addresses, and other vital corporate communications.
Starbak said its V3 portal provides the ability to create multiple play-lists that can be distributed to specific displays, and groups of displays, around the organization.
Also using the new display engine, studio quality videos and print quality posters can be imported into the V3 system for distribution to digital signs after offline production by graphic artists or non-linear video editing systems.
Currently, national and global organizations such as the Government of India, U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security, Auburn University, Cleveland Clinic, Lockheed Martin, and Dow Chemical Company use Starbak’s video portal solutions to deliver unique enterprise video capabilities including video on demand (VoD), live event streaming, video conference recording and streaming, and digital signage.
